Our Knackwurst is a highly seasoned, garlicky, plump, finely ground sausage, originating from northern Germany in the mid 1500’s. The name derives from the German verb “knacken” meaning to crack. This refers to the swelling of the sausage during cooking, so that the skin becomes pressurized and tends to pop, often bursting with juices when bitten into.

These sausages are naturally wood-smoked and free from all major food allergens (gluten, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, mustard, sesame, egg, fish, soy, sulphites). Best enjoyed on a bun or in a dish.
