Peach Glazed Ham

Quantity Ingredient
1 Piller's Smoked Black Forest Ham
1 cup Peach preserves
2 tbsp Brown sugar
1 tbsp Cider vinegar
1 tbsp Grainy mustard
2 Garlic cloves, minced
1/2 Small onion, very finely diced or grated
1/2 tsp Olive oil
1 tsp Fresh thyme (or 1/2 tsp dried)
Optional Freshly cracked black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, saute the onion in the oil until soft (3-4 mins). Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in peach preserves, brown sugar, cider vinegar, mustard, thyme, and pepper. Simmer 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened and glossy.
  3. Brush 1/3 of glaze over the ham. Cover loosely with foil. Bake for 25-30 minutes, basting with more glaze halfway through.
  4. Remove foil, brush with remaining glaze. Bake, uncovered, for another 10 – 15 minutes until sticky and carmelized.
