Charcuterie Pastry Trees

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 Package Freezer puff pastry, defrosted
1 Package Your Choice of Piller's salami
1 Egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 Package Skewers
Optional Herbs for garnish
Optional Pesto aioli for serving

Directions


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out pastry dough and cut into tree long strips.
  3. Place 2 or 3 slices of Piller’s salami inside each strip, fold like an accordion into a tree shape on skewer.
  4. Brush pastry with egg wash.
  5. Bake 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Garnish with herbs if desired. Serve warm with pesto aioli or your favourite dipping sauce.
