Hawaiian Grilled Cheese

Ingredients
4 slices crusty, multigrain bread
175 g pkg. Piller’s Simply Free Black Forest Ham
6 slices (90 g) Jarlsberg cheese slices
8 oz. (227 g) pineapple, round slices (fresh or canned)
30 ml (2 Tbsp.) tomato-basil jam (optional)
60 ml (4 Tbsp.) butter
Method

Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat. Take 2 slices of bread and generously butter one side of each. Place buttered bread in skillet (buttered-side down). Layer each slice of bread with 2 slices of cheese, 1 Tbsp. of tomato-basil jam (optional), 2 pineapple slices, 5 slices of ham and 1 more slice of cheese. Take the remaining 2 slices of bread, spread butter on one side of each and then place on top of sandwich (buttered-side up). Cook until browned and cheese is slightly melted, about 5-7 minutes. Flip sandwiches and cook slowly until browned and cheese is completely melted, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat, cut in half diagonally and serve.
