Maple Glazed Ham
INGREDIENTS
| 1 x 1.4kg | Piller’s Black Forest Ham (whole) | 3lbs approx. |
| 16 | Cloves | |
| 1/4 cup | Brown Sugar | 60ml |
| 1/4 cup | Maple Syrup | 60ml |
| 1/4 cup | Dijon Mustard | 60ml |
| 1 tbsp. | Fresh Rosemary (finely chopped) | 15ml |
METHOD
- With a sharp knife, make shallow cuts in a crosshatch pattern across the top of the ham about 2 inches apart.
- Insert a clove at each intersection.
- In a small saucepan mix together sugar, syrup, mustard and rosemary.
- Brush a thin layer of mix over the ham and bake @375° F for 45 minutes.
- Meanwhile heat the rest of the glaze over medium-high heat until it thickens (about 3 to 4 minutes).
- Brush remaining glaze onto the ham and cook 8 to 10 more minutes.
Slice and serve!
